Convocation!
I had my grad ceremony early today, and it was really nice. We all donned those black gowns, then put on the green monks hoods and black mortar boards to top it all off.
As the faculty were paraded into the gym, there was some First Nations drumming, symbolic of the fact that the university is on traditional Sto:lo land. The ceremony wasn't too long, and the B.Sc. students were the first from the Science and Health faculty to walk across the stage.
After the ceremony was photo time and desserts. It was a good chance to take a few pics with some of the people I went to uni with, before we all head to different parts of the world.
I also found out that I'm on the Dean's list, for having high marks. It's nice because they make a permanent note of it on my transcript.

Kudos on making the DL! Quite a feather in your cap. Now on to the next phase of life! It just keeps getting better (at least that's what I keep telling myself :)

It's nice to be finished one degree, and to have a bit of a summer now!
